FOUR SEASONS BELT
SILVERTONE ADJUSTABLE BELT
VINTAGE 1962   SARAH COVENTRY
This interesting belt has 3 rows of small links in an openwork arrangement.  The outer rows are nicely textured, and the links of the central row are shiny.  The hook clasp and openwork pattern make the belt ready "to fit all waists from 21 inches to 36 inches."  It measures about 1 1/4" in width.
Sarah Coventry first sold this belt in 1962 and said that it "can ... span the seasons.  (It has a) basket weave design in textured and gleaming goldentone or silvertone and to complete your look of fashion" they offered a matching bracelet for a set "just as lively and lovely as the life you lead.  Four Seasons can go anywhere you go, any time of year."
This belt has been in our family's possession since it was new.  We worked for the company from the late 1950s through the 1970s.   Please see the Item Condition Note above for details, and also please look at our photos carefully, as they are an important part of this description.  We do not use stock photos; the jewelry you see is the jewelry you'll get.  Kindly disregard any reflections in our photos.
Sarah Coventry made fine costume jewelry that was very popular and was sold at home fashion shows for decades.  Our family worked with the company as mentioned, and we still have a collection of nice pieces like this.
The company was known for such versatile, well-made jewelry with ageless appeal. They named and numbered their pieces, which makes it more fun to collect them.

Welcome to our listing. We are Baby Boomer sisters who became interested in online selling when we decided to downsize after the kids moved on to college and jobs. Also, our family was involved with Sarah Coventry, Inc., for many years. Our mom was a regional manager, and one of us often assisted her at sales meetings as well as home fashion shows. We still have an extensive collection of her never-worn Sarah Coventry pieces.
We are 3rd generation "collectors" who have also inherited the "collections" of the previous generations. So we have LOTS of things to "rehome".
